1953-Present
A five-time Emmy Award-winning stand-up comedian, actor and political commentator known for his obscure pop culture references, Dennis Miller rose to fame in 1985 as a Saturday Night Live cast member. Miller left SNL in 1991 and hosted the late-night TV talk show, The Dennis Miller Show, followed by the HBO talk show, Dennis Miller Live. He also had a brief, rather unsuccessful stint as color commentator on Monday Night Football. A regular political commentator on Fox News, Miller also hosts a talk radio program called The Dennis Miller Show.
On Pessimism
"I'm one of the more pessimistic cats on the planet. I make Van Gogh look like a rodeo clown."
On Taxes
"The current tax code is harder to understand than Bob Dylan reading Finnegans Wake in a wind tunnel."

Most of us are still trying to figure Dennis out. How did this dude go from being one of the most creative social commentators on the planet to joining Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Hannity & Coulter in being a shill for the Republican Party? What the fuck Dennis? These people are the kinds of assholes that you used to rant against on HBO! Some say Dennis is suffering from "Mort Sahl Syndrome", because Sahl underwent a similar change in political alignment during the Reagan years, which always seemed to me like the very administration he would've been against. Oh yeah, then to top it all off, Dennis shoots his career in the foot by hosting an installment of WWE's "Monday Night Raw" and proceeds to spew out jokes which all, without exception, go as flat as a case of 10-year-old club soda.
